How to finally start and improve our overall fitness? Check out our tips on how to go on a journey of life in the name of fitness and an active lifestyle that will transform us into a

Ok, I assume that you are here because the benefits of an active life are numerous and you probably already know some of them. We wrote more about them in this article and we will not analyze them much here.
We are all different and whether you just want to get into an active lifestyle for your general health, feel better, build muscle or lose weight, you are still alive and you have the power to turn your life in a new direction. Choose only a certain activity and let it be something you like and enjoy the most.
But you will have to achieve that by yourself, I can't do it for you. I have problems starting myself and every start is difficult. Forget yesterday, tomorrow is a new day and a new beginning.
Before you start exercising, be sure to have a health check-up and then make a plan with your own but realistic goals. It is very important to consult with a health facility and find out your health condition in time so that you do not run into the risks of some sports activity.
This will help you or a professional person or trainer to adapt and optimize your sports activity plan. This is especially important for bodybuilding or strength exercises, but also for all fitness activities of course.
The tips below will surely help you because they did for me, too.
Tip #1 - Know yourself
You have read in this article and understood that the mind is a powerful tool. You have to ask yourself in your head why you are doing it, what is the main reason. When you understand why, tell yourself I'm starting and I will succeed 100 % this time.
Tip #2 - Grow like a tree
Start very simply and grow like a tree, slowly but surely. Everything that grows fast breaks even faster. Fitness starts simply.

Tip #3 - Habit is what keeps you going
You have to create a habit and that is the important thing. Stick to your routine every day. You can put your plan on paper, weekly or monthly. Buy a weekly plan or to-do notebook where you write down your fitness activity plan and stick to it.

It takes some time to form a habit, about a few weeks so be consistent at the beginning.
Of course, it takes the same amount of time to break a habit. While you are probably creating a new habit, the old one fades away. That's how it works.
Tip #4 - Constant progress
Progress little by little and measure your fitness progress. Write it down everyday. Count your steps or distance every day if you walk or run. You can do that easily with a smart watch which you can connect to your smartphone and measure your daily activity. We recommend to buy this very simple and easy to use Smart Watch (affiliate link).
It is certainly important to be better and better each time.
Tip #5 - Reward yourself
Reward yourself after completing the weekly activity, for example after five days a week of sports activity, you can reward yourself with two days of rest. Rest is just as important as workout. We are not robots with artificial intelligence, we are human beings who need sleep, rest and quality food. Feel free to reward yourself with anything else you like.
Tip #6 - Surround yourself with supportive people and everything will be possible
Also very important, find groups or people with similar experiences, share successes and learn and motivate each other.

That's it! I have not found myself in a specific sports activity that I just stick to for years.
I was involved in many kinds of sport for a while and I enjoyed. Last year and a half I went to the gym and followed a specific program and the results were quite visible.
What I often do is walking combined with running or just walking a few kilometers a day.
Basically, it feels great to live and slowly grow so explore the activities and stick to the plan, just move forward. Maybe even you will find your passion, you will never know if you don't start.
